Gifu Tokyo to begin seasonal kurikinton sales in September

The Gifu Tokyo antenna shop, located in Hibiya OKUROJI, Tokyo, will begin its annual sale of kurikinton starting in September 2026. Kurikinton is a traditional Gifu confection made by steaming chestnuts, passing them through a sieve, and cooking them with sugar to mimic the shape of a chestnut.

Sales will take place every Saturday in September, featuring various local confectioneries from Gifu Prefecture. The first installment will feature products from Ena Kawakamiya on September 12, with a limited stock of 30 boxes available. Reservations can be made via phone or in-store up to five days prior to the arrival date.
