Gigabyte launches 1600W AORUS P1600W AI‑ready power supply
Gigabyte announced the AORUS P1600W power supply at Computex 2026. The unit delivers 1,600 W of power and carries an 80 Plus Titanium efficiency rating while fitting into a compact 160 mm chassis, making it one of the smallest high‑wattage supplies on the market. It uses gallium‑nitride (GaN) technology and 100 % Japanese capacitors to achieve high power density and reliability for demanding workloads.
The PSU complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards and includes two native 16‑pin‑to‑16‑pin PCIe cables plus two dual‑8‑pin‑to‑16‑pin cables, supporting configurations with up to four high‑end GPUs. An integrated LCD Edge View display provides real‑time monitoring of output power and status, and a 140 mm dual‑bearing fan with dust‑repellent features helps maintain cooling efficiency.
