GIGABYTE launches 27‑inch AORUS Elite WOLED gaming monitors with up to 280 Hz refresh

GIGABYTE announced two new 27‑inch AORUS Elite WOLED gaming monitors, the FO27Q24G (240 Hz) and FO27Q28G (280 Hz). Both use LG Tandem WOLED panels, offer QHD resolution, a contrast ratio of 1.5 million : 1, 10‑bit colour depth, 98.5 % DCI‑P3 coverage and a Delta E below 2. They feature a 0.03 ms response time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification and AI OLED Care technology to mitigate burn‑in, backed by a 3 + 1‑year warranty.

The launches come as OLED gaming monitors gain market share, with competitors such as MSI, ASUS, Samsung and Acer also expanding premium OLED line‑ups. GIGABYTE also previewed an upcoming dual‑mode monitor that will support 540 Hz and 720 Hz refresh rates, signalling the company’s intent to push the speed envelope in the OLED segment.
