Gigabyte launches B450 chipset motherboards for AM4 socket

Gigabyte has introduced two new motherboards, the B450M D3HP and the B450M D3HP WIFI6E, utilizing the older B450 chipset. These Micro-ATX boards are designed for the AMD AM4 socket, supporting Ryzen 3000 through 5000 series processors and APUs.

Targeting the budget-conscious market, these products serve as an affordable alternative to newer, more expensive DDR5-based technologies. The boards feature a 4+2 phase power delivery system and support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM at 2667 MT/s across four DIMM slots.

The B450M D3HP WIFI6E model includes integrated Wi-Fi 6E via a Realtek RTL8852CE controller and Bluetooth 5.4. Connectivity options include two M.2 slots, four SATA III ports, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, and various USB and display outputs including HDMI and DisplayPort. The boards are expected to be positioned at a low price point, potentially under 100 euros.
