GIGABYTE Launches B550 X Series Motherboards and X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 for AMD Ryzen Processors

GIGABYTE announced the B550 X Series motherboards, a refreshed AM4 platform built for AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, notably the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The boards retain DDR4 support while adding next‑generation Wi‑Fi 7, a 10‑phase 60 A DrMOS VRM, expanded cooling solutions and several "EZ" installation features for antennas, M.2 drives and graphics cards.

In parallel, GIGABYTE introduced X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, a BIOS‑level performance enhancement for AMD Ryzen X3D processors. The feature automatically optimises CPU, memory and power delivery, delivering up to 34 % higher frame rates in titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and up to 13.8 % gains in Cinebench R24 multi‑core tests. X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 is available on the company’s X3D Series motherboards and offers separate Max Performance and Extreme Gaming profiles.
