GIGABYTE launches RTX 5080 INFINITY and INFINITY WOOD graphics cards

GIGABYTE has expanded its limited‑edition INFINITY series with two new models, the AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY and the RTX 5080 INFINITY WOOD. Both cards use NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, feature 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256‑bit bus, and share identical hardware specifications, including a factory‑overclocked core clock of 2,805 MHz on the WOOD version.

The cards celebrate GIGABYTE’s 40th anniversary. The standard INFINITY version sports a dark colour scheme, while the INFINITY WOOD model adds silver accents and a wood‑inspired finish created with printed textures or a thin veneer. Cooling is handled by GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE Hyperburst system, employing a Double Flow Through fan layout that moves air through the heatsink and back‑plate vents, reportedly increasing airflow by up to 58 %. A hidden Overdrive fan in the centre activates under load for extra cooling. The design also incorporates Project Stealth technology, relocating the power connector to the rear of the card to hide cables.

The GPUs were first shown at COMPUTEX 2026 after the flagship RTX 5090 INFINITY launch and are now available for purchase, though pricing has not been disclosed.
