GIGABYTE unveils AI‑powered AERO X16 laptop and RTX 50 Series AI Box

GIGABYTE Technology announced two new AI‑focused products. The AERO X16 laptop, available from 10 June 2026, comes in two models equipped with AMD Ryzen AI processors (9 465 and 7 350) and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPUs. Prices are roughly ¥420,000 and ¥320,000. The laptops feature 16‑inch 165 Hz displays, AI‑integrated NPUs delivering up to 798 AI TOPS, advanced cooling, Wi‑Fi 6E and Thunderbolt‑5 connectivity, and up to 12 hours of battery life.

At Computex 2026 GIGABYTE also introduced the AORUS GeForce RTX 50 Series AI BOX, an external GPU enclosure that adds desktop‑class performance to ultrabook laptops. The flagship RTX 5090 AI BOX offers over 3,000 AI TOPS with 32 GB VRAM and liquid cooling, while the RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX provides 16 GB VRAM and a WINDFORCE cooling system for lighter laptops. Both units include GPU selector software for managing multi‑GPU workloads and support Thunderbolt 5, Ethernet, USB expansion and multiple displays.
