Gigabyte unveils BRIX Mainstream mini PC for enterprise AI workloads

Taiwanese computer maker Gigabyte has introduced the BRIX Mainstream series, a line of ultra‑compact mini PCs aimed at accelerating artificial‑intelligence deployments in corporate environments. The flagship model, GB‑BRU9‑386H, is powered by Intel’s 12th‑gen Core Ultra 9 “Panther Lake” processor built on the 18A process, integrating CPU, GPU and a neural‑processing unit that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. The system supports up to 128 GB DDR5‑6400 RAM, dual Gen 5 NVMe M.2 SSD slots, 2.5 GbE Ethernet, Wi‑Fi 7, USB 4 and dual HDMI 2.1 outputs capable of driving four 4K displays, all within a 0.46‑liter chassis only 35 mm thick.

Gigabyte positions the BRIX Mainstream for edge‑AI applications such as retail digital signage, industrial automation, video surveillance, and medical imaging, emphasizing low latency, data privacy and on‑site processing. The devices will be showcased at Computex 2026 in Taiwan, with pricing and availability still to be announced.
