Gigi Leung completes 26-show national theatre tour

Singer and actress Gigi Leung has concluded a 26-show national tour of the play ‘The Woman We Become’, an adaptation of the novel ‘Kim Ji-young, Born 1982’. The tour spanned seven major Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi'an, and concluded in Beijing at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

Marking her 30th year in the industry, Leung expressed her emotional connection to the role, stating her hope to give voice to the feelings of women in difficult situations. Following the tour, she will return to Hong Kong to promote her new Mandarin album, ‘Gentle Existence’, and prepare for her ‘LOVE GIGI’ world concert tour stop at the Hong Kong Coliseum in late November.

Leung noted that her upcoming Hong Kong concert will feature several significant figures who have accompanied her throughout her 30-year career.
