Gigi Leung discusses marriage and career struggles on TVB

During an appearance on the TVB program ‘Weekly Stars’, Hong Kong singer Gigi Leung shared personal details regarding her marriage to her Spanish husband, Sergio. Leung revealed that the couple experienced a ‘lightning romance,’ noting that she felt he was ‘the one’ after knowing him for only two days.

To confirm her intuition, Leung recalled calling her close friend, Taiwanese singer Valen Hsu, to seek advice. Leung also discussed her past struggles with negative media coverage, admitting she once questioned her career path but found strength through the support of her team.

Leung praised her husband’s positive energy, stating that his optimistic attitude has had a significant influence on her life and mindset. She also shared a lighthearted anecdote about how Sergio instinctively dances whenever he hears Latin-style music.
