Gigi Meroni honored on 59th anniversary of death

Radio GP Magazine is dedicating a special broadcast to Gigi Meroni, the legendary Torino footballer known as ‘la Farfalla granata’, marking the 59th anniversary of his death.

The program, part of the series ‘Il mondo ha la forma di un pallone’, explores Meroni’s life beyond the football pitch. It highlights his non-conformist personality and his artistic talents as a painter. The tribute is based on the book by Massimo Paravani, who also created sixteen portraits of legendary champions, including Meroni, to accompany the narrative.
