Gigi Riva biography ‘Rombo di Lago’ presented in Italy

The book ‘Rombo di Lago’, written by journalists Claudio Ferretti and Matteo Fontana, is being presented to explore the life and roots of the legendary footballer Gigi Riva. Following an official premiere in Leggiuno, the presentation moved to Cocquio Trevisago at the ‘Gallico’ municipal library.

The volume aims to highlight Riva’s deep connection to his birthplace and his local heritage, offering a perspective distinct from the many books focused on his time in Sardinia. The authors utilized interviews and research to compile the work, receiving support from Riva’s family, including his son Nicola, to honor the late athlete’s legacy.
