Gigi Wong discusses marriage and life transitions

Veteran actress Gigi Wong recently shared insights into her personal life and marriage during an interview on the online program ‘Yan Style Life’. She discussed the reasons for her divorce from her first husband, director Lau Fong-kong, noting that their life paths had become inconsistent.

Wong revealed that following her divorce, she was pursued by a wealthy businessman who used a large yacht to express his interest, but she declined, prioritizing sincerity over material wealth. She also addressed long-standing misunderstandings with director Leung Tin from the 1970s.

Regarding her current marriage to neurosurgeon Xu Jingqing, Wong stated that she sought her children's blessing before remarrying. She currently resides primarily in Vancouver, Canada, enjoying a semi-retired lifestyle.
