Gilat Satellite Networks secures over $32 million in defense contracts

Gilat Satellite Networks has secured multiple significant contracts, including orders exceeding $32 million for its satellite communications technology. Through its subsidiary Gilat DataPath, the company received more than $8 million from the U.S. Department of Defense for field services and the modernization of satellite communication systems for deployed military networks. This follows a separate order worth more than $10 million for the SkyEdge IV multi-orbit platform.

In addition to the U.S. defense contracts, the company has announced a $28 million project in Peru aimed at expanding broadband connectivity. These developments follow a strong second quarter for Gilat, which reported revenue of $122.66 million, a 16.90 percent increase compared to the previous year.

The company is scheduled to release its third-quarter 2026 earnings report on November 10, 2026.
