Gilbert O'Sullivan announces 21st studio album ‘On the Record’

Singer-songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan has announced the release of his 21st studio album, titled ‘On the Record’, scheduled for November 6 through BMG. The 13-track collection was recorded over five days at Eastcote Studios in London with producer Andy Wright and a core group of long-established studio musicians.

The album features the lead track ‘Growing Old Disgracefully’ and includes a duet with Andrea Corr titled ‘Is That You?’. Other tracks include ‘It’s Me, I Suppose’, ‘No Place Like Home’, and ‘Go The Way I Came’. O'Sullivan emphasized that his songwriting philosophy remains unchanged, stating, “The writing has never stopped being the most important thing.”

This release is part of O'Sullivan’s ‘60 Years In Music’ celebrations, which will include an extensive tour across the UK and Ireland throughout September, October, and November 2026.
