Gilberto Pichetto Fratin to inaugurate Italian protected areas exhibition

Environment and Energy Security Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin will inaugurate a multimedia photographic exhibition titled ‘Acqua, biodiversità e paesaggio. Un viaggio attraverso le Aree Protette d’Italia’ on September 29 at the Roma Convention Center.

The exhibition, part of the Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum, is promoted by the UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme and Fondazione UniVerde. It features 50 images highlighting Italy's natural heritage, including rivers, lakes, and coastal environments, to demonstrate the connection between water resources and protected ecosystems.
