Gildas Olangué concludes national gendarmerie tour in Congo-Brazzaville

Brigadier General Gildas Olangué, commander of the National Gendarmerie of Congo-Brazzaville, has completed a 15-day territorial tour across 14 gendarmerie regions. The tour concluded in the capital, Brazzaville, where the general addressed officers, non-commissioned officers, and rank-and-file personnel.

During the final stop, Olangué emphasized the need for discipline, ethics, and tangible results. He specifically highlighted security challenges facing large urban centers, including large-scale banditry, juvenile crime, and traffic management.

The tour included visits to various departmental capitals and regions, including Kinkala, Impfondo, Pointe-Noire, Dolisie, Madingou, Djambala, Owando, and Ouesso. Olangué stated the mission was essential to meet personnel directly, understand their working methods, and ensure mutual understanding between the troops and the command.
