Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny share 'The X-Files' memories

During a recent appearance at Fan Expo Denver, actors David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson shared reflections on their time filming ‘The X-Files’. Duchovny revealed a secret method he used to manage his dialogue during the series' peak in the 1990s. He explained that when filming scenes involving mobile phone conversations, he would have a script supervisor on the other end of the line reading his lines to him, allowing him to repeat them during the take.

Gillian Anderson also shared personal reflections regarding her experiences with motherhood and parenting during the show's production. In a recent interview, she noted that she would approach certain decisions differently today, specifically citing the logistical strain placed on her eldest daughter due to frequent travel between Los Angeles and Vancouver following her divorce in 1997. She also reflected on the timing of allowing her children to view certain media, such as horror films, noting that her perspective has evolved with her younger children.
