Gillian Anderson identifies as pansexual

Actress Gillian Anderson has publicly identified as pansexual. In recent interviews with The Australian and The Sunday Times, the 58-year-old star shared that her understanding of her sexual orientation has evolved over time.

Anderson noted that while she is currently in a relationship with a man, she would feel the same way about a life partner regardless of their gender. She reflected on her past, stating, “In my younger years, I was in relationships with women,” and mentioned that she previously lacked the terminology to describe her identity while navigating interests in both men and women.

This clarification follows previous comments made to The New Yorker in 2024, where Anderson expressed uncertainty regarding whether bisexual or pansexual was the most accurate description for her.
