Gilmore Girls removed from Netflix amid enduring fandom

The television series ‘Gilmore Girls’ has recently been removed from Netflix after the streaming platform chose not to renew the rights for the original series. Despite its removal, the show remains a highly-watched title on major streaming platforms and maintains a significant, loyal fandom known for its nostalgic and autumnal aesthetic.

In connection to the show’s enduring legacy, actress Lauren Graham has teased upcoming details regarding a new documentary about the series. Additionally, fans have noted obscure pop culture connections within the show, such as a 2003 episode that referenced ballroom dancers Corky and Shirley Ballas, the parents of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional Mark Ballas.
