Gimhae and Iksan foundations launch student scholarship recruitment

Local scholarship foundations in Gimhae and Iksan are launching recruitment drives to support regional students.

The Gimhae Future Talent Scholarship Foundation is seeking 20 students for the second half of 2026, with a total fund of 56 million won. The program includes corporate-linked employment scholarships for graduates of local universities working at regional SMEs, and medical school scholarships for students from Gimhae high schools. Applications are open until the 18th.

In Iksan, the Iksan Love Scholarship Foundation is recruiting 278 students across six categories, including general academic excellence, multi-child families, multicultural backgrounds, and arts/physical education. The foundation, which has distributed over 6.5 billion won since 2007, aims to foster local talent through various support systems. The application period runs from the 3rd to the 9th.
