Gimhae City hosts Blue Sky Week to promote eco-friendly living

Gimhae City will host the 7th Blue Sky Week from September 7 to 13, operating under the slogan ‘Our Journey to Clean Air,’ inspired by the United Nations Environment Programme theme. The initiative aims to raise awareness regarding the climate crisis and the importance of reducing fine dust through various online and offline activities.

Key programs include campaigns encouraging the use of public transportation and an SNS certification challenge where participants can win Gimhae Love Gift Certificates by posting photos of eco-friendly practices. On September 9, the city will offer free vehicle emission testing and inspections at the Gimhae City Hall parking lot. Additionally, a citizen participation event featuring fine dust quizzes and eco-friendly flowerpot making will be held at the Lotte Premium Outlet Gimhae on September 12.
