Gimpo City Council conducts on-site inspections for administrative audits

The Gimpo City Council conducted on-site inspections of major projects and facility operations as part of its 2026 administrative audit process during its 271st regular session. The inspections aimed to verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of various municipal initiatives.

The Administrative Welfare Committee visited the Gimpo Manufacturing Convergence Innovation Center to discuss strengthening corporate support and utilizing idle spaces. They also inspected the Gimpo Second General Social Welfare Center to evaluate welfare services provided to local residents and vulnerable groups.

The Urban Environment Committee inspected the construction of the third section of the access road to the Han River Cinepolis General Industrial Complex near Pungkok IC. Additionally, members visited Daemyung Port to review the progress of the Fishing Village New Deal 300 project, including the construction of a seafood market and parking lot renovations. Finally, the committee checked the expansion of sewage treatment facilities at Tongjin Eco Park to ensure stable operations amid increasing demand.
