Gimpo City to host Marine Corps Culture Festival in Daemyeong Port

Gimpo City will host the 2026 Marine Corps Culture Festival in Daemyeong Port and Gimpo Ship Park on November 7, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Now in its third year, the event aims to combine Marine Corps cultural experiences with local food and West Sea sunset views to support the regional economy.

To improve accessibility, the city will operate five free shuttle buses from Masan Station on the Gimpo Goldline to Daemyeong Port every 20 minutes. The festival program includes magic shows, Taekwondo demonstrations, military band performances, and helicopter maneuvers. Visitors can also participate in military equipment exhibitions, laser shooting, and various mission-based activities.

A new “Sunset Outdoor Market” will allow visitors to purchase fresh seafood from the Daemyeong Port wholesale market and enjoy barbecues on the rooftop while watching the sunset. To further stimulate local business, visitors who present a receipt for purchases over 30,000 KRW from the Daemyeong Port commercial area can receive small souvenirs.
