Gina H. murder trial resumes in Rostock court

Mother Dorina L. returned to the Landgericht Rostock on 6 August for the first day of the resumed trial after a summer break. The case concerns the murder of her son Fabian, for which Gina H. is accused. Dorina, dressed in black, sat beside her lawyer Christine Habetha to review the evidence before proceedings began.

The prosecution will hear additional witnesses, including forester Frank K., who testified that Gina H. was near the location where Fabian’s body was found on the day of his disappearance. A photograph sent by the defendant on 10 October shows a forest path and her dog, confirming the proximity. The court expects further testimony from Fabian’s grandmother and other witnesses in the coming days.

The trial, which has drawn significant public attention, continues as the court examines the motive and circumstances surrounding Fabian’s death.
