Ginevra Panzeri selected for F1 Academy Rookie Programme 2026
Ginevra Panzeri has been selected as the only Italian driver among 18 participants for the F1 Academy Rookie Programme 2026. The program is an official Formula 1 initiative designed to scout and train emerging female motorsport talent.
The 17-year-old driver, currently competing in Formula 4 with PA Racing, has already begun the program with a training camp at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. This phase included physiological and cognitive evaluations, athletic preparation, and workshops on performance and resilience.
The next stage of the program is scheduled for September 9–11 at the Navarra Circuit in Spain. During this period, Panzeri and the other selected drivers will work with technical teams and engineers, participate in media training, and drive F1 Academy single-seaters. The program serves as a critical pathway, as several previous participants have secured full-time seats in the F1 Academy for subsequent seasons.
