Ginger Lab’s SDG children program debuts at Saga’s Mirai no Takarabako

Ginger Lab Inc. will host a free, SDG‑focused experiential workshop for children at the inaugural “Mirai no Takarabako Sports Edition” in Tosu, Saga Prefecture on 29 August 2026. The program, titled “Hope Cycle Designer – Turning ‘Waste’ into ‘Thanks’,” uses the company’s disaster‑relief food product KIBOU CURRY to teach SDG Goal 12 – responsible production and consumption – by letting participants design ways to redirect near‑expiry food to those in need.

The 15‑minute session is open to children aged 4 to elementary‑school‑grade‑6 (with guardians for younger kids) and accommodates six participants per run, with a total capacity of 600. Registration is required by 12 noon on 5 August, with selection by lottery. Successful participants receive a “Hope Cycle Designer” certificate and a KIBOU CURRY souvenir. The event also showcases a range of behind‑the‑scenes sports careers and other sector jobs such as nutrition, AI, construction, media, and disaster‑infrastructure support.
