Ginja Mariquinhas opens new Experience Store in Sintra

Ginja Mariquinhas, a Portuguese liqueur brand producing since 1949, has opened a new ‘Experience Store’ in the historic center of Sintra. Located at Rua das Padarias, n.º 16, the shop aims to provide visitors and residents with an immersive look at the brand’s history and products.

In addition to traditional ginja, the store offers special editions, exclusive cocktails, truffles, and biscuits inspired by the liqueur. CEO Bernardo Cavalheiro stated that the Sintra location is a natural step in the brand’s growth strategy, noting that the town’s history and culture align with the brand’s values.

The brand currently operates seven stores across Portugal, with plans to expand to Guimarães in 2027 using a new concept that combines a retail store with accommodation services.
