Ginkgo trees reach peak color in Tendo City, Yamagata

The ginkgo tree avenue at Yamagata Prefectural General Sports Park in Tendo City has reached its peak autumn colors. The avenue features 74 trees stretching 244 meters, creating a golden tunnel effect.

Visitors, including families and photography students, gathered on November 3 to enjoy the contrast between the yellow foliage and the blue sky. The peak viewing period is expected to last through the end of the week. Additionally, the trees will be illuminated after sunset until mid-November, offering a different visual experience at night.
