GINT selected for Tokyo Stock Exchange startup program for second year
South Korean agtech startup GINT has been selected for the second consecutive year as a beneficiary of the ‘TSE Asia Startup Hub,’ an initiative led by the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE). The program aims to revitalize the Japanese startup ecosystem by supporting promising Asian companies in market expansion, business development, fundraising, and IPO preparation through a network of 58 partners, including banks, venture capitalists, and accounting firms.
GINT specializes in autonomous driving solutions for tractors and agricultural machinery, providing Level 2 to Level 4 automation capabilities. The TSE recognized the company for its leadership in agricultural autonomous technology and its potential to expand these solutions into broader off-road industries.
Since entering the Japanese market in 2024, GINT has established a local subsidiary in Sapporo and recently secured a supply contract for its ‘PLUVA Ion’ model with local distribution channels. The company is also preparing to launch ‘PLUVA RS,’ an unmanned spraying robot for orchards, as part of its broader strategy to address labor shortages and aging populations in the agricultural sector through robotics and AI.
