Ginza Diamond Shiraishi and Exelco Diamond expand in Seoul and Taipei
Japanese bridal diamond brand Ginza Diamond Shiraishi and Belgian brand Exelco Diamond have expanded their presence in Asia with new locations in Seoul and Taipei.
In Seoul, the group opened its first jewelry gallery, ‘NEW ART KOREA’, in Namsan on August 27. Designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, the space integrates contemporary art and architecture, featuring exhibition areas for both brands and the Whitestone Gallery. In Taipei, a dual-brand store opened on August 22 at the Taipei Dome Far Eastern Garden City, utilizing a Greek Aegean-inspired design.
The expansion comes as the wedding market undergoes structural shifts. While marriage registration rates in Taiwan have declined, brands note that wedding rings remain a stable consumer priority as symbols of daily commitment. To meet evolving consumer behaviors—where digital research precedes physical visits—the brands are emphasizing one-on-one consultations, semi-custom services, and immersive retail experiences.
To mark their 2026 anniversary, the brands are offering discounts on diamond and pair rings and have launched new collections: Ginza Diamond Shiraishi’s ‘Live Allove’ and Exelco Diamond’s ‘Reflet d’Amour’.
