Ginza SIX to host family-friendly Noh performance on Aug 30, 2026

The Kansei Noh Hall (観世能楽堂) will hold a parent‑child Noh theatre program titled “Experience the World of Noh” on 30 August 2026 at Ginza SIX in Tokyo. The 90‑minute show, part of the series that began in 2023, features a performance of the Noh play “Kei‑shō” starring Kansei Saburōta, along with workshops and a drumming session. The event is aimed at children aged three and up, their parents, university students and the general public, with a total capacity of 478 seats.

Ticket prices are ¥4,000 for a parent‑child pair, ¥1,500 for student seats and ¥3,500 for general admission, all inclusive of taxes and seat reservation. Applications are accepted online from 10:00 GMT+9 on 31 July until 17:00 on 9 August, with a lottery for 30 parent‑child pairs. The program is co‑organized by the Kansei Association and the Japan Theatre Promotion Association, with financial support from the Chuo‑ku Ward and its Board of Education.
