Gio Reyna scores for Strasbourg against Paris Saint-Germain

United States midfielder Gio Reyna scored for Racing Strasbourg in a Ligue 1 match against Paris Saint-Germain. Reyna opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a low shot that deflected past goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.

The 23-year-old, who joined Strasbourg from Borussia Mönchengladbach during the offseason, has established a consistent role in France following previous stints in the Bundesliga and a loan at Nottingham Forest. This goal follows a previous scoring performance against Troyes.

Reyna’s club form coincides with his growing importance to the USMNT under manager Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino has previously described the midfielder as a ‘very special talent,’ maintaining confidence in Reyna despite his recent fluctuations in club minutes in previous seasons.
