Gioia Tauro to host 27th Calabria-America International Award

The 27th edition of the “Calabria-America” International Award will be held in Gioia Tauro on September 5. Promoted by the Centro d’Arte e Cultura Bruzio and conceived by Mimmo Morogallo, the event is supported by the Gioia Tauro municipal administration and the Rotary Club.

The theme for the 2026 edition is “The Calabria that lives in the world,” aiming to highlight the deep connections between the Calabria region and Calabrian communities globally through culture, work, and excellence. The award serves as a bridge to recognize individuals, businesses, and institutions that promote the territory's identity and professional values.

Recognitions will be presented to several individuals and entities, including Domenico Amuso, Distilleria Caffo, Gianni Crea, Ernesto Madeo, and others. The event will feature musical performances by the “Saverio Arlia” State Conservatory and the unveiling of the oil painting “Calabria, Radici nel Mondo” by Mimmo Morogallo.
