Giorgi Gigashvili discusses musical authenticity and Georgian roots

In a recent interview, classical musician Giorgi Gigashvili discussed his approach to authenticity and his connection to his Georgian roots. He noted that his social media presence, characterized by humor and lightheartedness, has been received positively by other musicians, who view it as a refreshing change for the classical music scene.

Gigashvili emphasized that his musical identity is deeply tied to Georgian music, having begun singing at the age of four. This early exposure to various vocal ranges has aided his ability to perform complex polyphonic works.
