Sevilla FC nears signing of Giorgi Kochorashvili from Sporting CP

Sevilla FC is finalizing the signing of Georgian midfielder Giorgi Kochorashvili from Sporting CP. The transfer, which has undergone lengthy negotiations, is expected to cost between 4 and 5 million euros, excluding performance-based variables.

Kochorashvili has arrived in Seville to undergo medical examinations and is expected to sign a contract tying him to the club until June 2030. He becomes the eighth reinforcement for Sevilla this summer. While the deal was delayed by bureaucratic hurdles and negotiations regarding the transfer fee, the player may still travel with the squad for their upcoming match against Athletic Club in Bilbao.
