Giorgio Armani Biopic Series Announced by Lux Vide

Italian production company Lux Vide is developing an untitled biographical television series on fashion legend Giorgio Armani. The series will be created in partnership with the Armani fashion house and will draw on the brand’s archives and personal testimonies.

Renowned director Ferzan Ozpetek, who personally knew Armani, will helm the project and co‑write the script with chief screenwriter Francesco Arlanch. Ozpetek told Variety, “I knew, admired and spent time with Giorgio, both in official settings and privately… I saw in him a brilliant artist and a determined man.”

The series will chronicle Armani’s rise from his early designs to the building of a global luxury empire, highlighting his impact on both fashion and Hollywood, including iconic collaborations with stars such as Julia Roberts and Kate Blanchett.
