Giorgio Armani: Legacy honored one year after passing

One year after his passing on September 4, 2025, the legacy of fashion icon Giorgio Armani is being honored through quiet commemorations and ongoing exhibitions. In Pantelleria, one of his favorite islands, a modest ceremony led by Mayor Fabrizio D’Ancona was held to honor his memory, accompanied by a message of gratitude from the Armani family to the local residents.

In Milan, the Armani/Silos exhibition, which showcases twenty years of his haute couture, has been extended until December 20. The exhibition continues to draw significant crowds, averaging approximately 500 daily visitors.

Beyond the cultural tributes, focus remains on the future of the Armani Group. Key questions persist regarding the management of the business empire and the implementation of the succession plan the designer had carefully prepared in his final years.
