Giorgio Pasotti wins 29th Ignazio Silone International Prize

The 29th edition of the Ignazio Silone International Prize has concluded in Pescina, Abruzzo. The event celebrated the literary and political legacy of the renowned Abruzzese writer through a three-day program of study conferences, scientific discussions, and guided tours of significant local sites.

Actor Giorgio Pasotti, Director of the Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo, was named the winner of this edition. The award recognizes his artistic contributions and his commitment to promoting the cultural and theatrical activities of the Abruzzo region.

Additionally, special “Che fare a Fontamara” mentions were awarded to various individuals and institutions for excellence in scientific, social, and cultural fields, including Virginia Di Mascio, director Gabriele Cipollitti, and the Fondazione Terzo Pilastro Internazionale.
