Giorgos Christodoulou on revolutionary ideas, politics and art in fresh interview

Greek actor‑director Giorgos Christodoulou sat for an interview with the "Ergotimologio" supplement of To Vima. He reflected on his recent role in the National Theatre’s production of "Troades", directed by Eleni Efthymiou, and explained that while the core of his political ideology remains unchanged, he stays flexible on specific issues.

Christodoulou emphasized the importance of disruptive ideas, stating, "Revolutionary ideas move the world; every establishment has a disruptive idea that challenges it." He linked this dynamic to personal and societal evolution. The interview also explored existential themes, with Christodoulou noting that parenthood, art, philosophy and religion all engage with our deeper questions, and that "all is politics, even indifference is a political stance."
