Giorgos Kimoulis seeks €700,000 in damages from three actors

Actor Giorgos Kimoulis is seeking €700,000 in damages from actresses Zeta Douka and Dora Chryskou, as well as actor Nikos Psarras, for libel and slander through the media. The legal proceedings were scheduled for October 1, but the case has been postponed to October 22 following a request from Kimoulis’s side.

According to lawyer Giorgos Geraris, the legal matter has been split into two distinct parts. One part involves claims made through the media and is being handled via a special procedure, which was the subject of the recent postponement. The second part of the lawsuit will proceed through regular legal channels.

The ongoing legal dispute between Kimoulis and Douka dates back to 2021, following public allegations made by the actress regarding their professional collaboration. In a related development on July 11, 2025, the Athens Misdemeanor Court found Kimoulis guilty of ethical complicity in false testimony, resulting in a suspended 20-month prison sentence and a €3,000 fine.
