Giorgos Liagas visits Atokos island to film wild pigs

Greek television presenter Giorgos Liagas shared footage from his boat during a visit to the uninhabited island of Atokos in the Ionian Sea. The video, posted to his Instagram account, captures the island's famous wild pigs roaming freely among beachgoers and even entering the sea.

Liagas captioned the post ‘People and pigs’, a humorous play on the title of John Steinbeck’s novel ‘Of Mice and Men’. Atokos, located between Ithaca and Lefkada, has become a popular destination for boat travelers and a viral social media sensation due to the presence of these animals on its shores.
