Giorgos Mylonakis returns to Parliament after health crisis

Giorgos Mylonakis has returned to the Hellenic Parliament following a multi-month absence due to a serious health crisis. Mylonakis had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, which required emergency surgery and a 26-day stay in intensive care.

Upon his return, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis warmly welcomed him before Mylonakis delivered a speech regarding constitutional reform. Mylonakis, who has since undergone rehabilitation, expressed that his experience has given him a deeper appreciation for life and a more human perspective on politics.

The politician's health emergency originally occurred during a meeting at the Maximos Mansion, where he collapsed during a morning coffee with the Prime Minister.
