Giorgos Skevas stages Mark Rosenblatt's 'The Giant' in Athens

Greek director Giorgos Skevas is bringing Mark Rosenblatt’s play The Giant to Greece for the first time. The production will premiere on 29 October at the Theater of Kykladon Street in Athens, with actor Aris Lemposopoulos playing author Roald Dahl.

The drama, set in the summer of 1983, revisits Dahl’s controversial statements supporting the Palestinian cause and condemning Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, exploring how artistic brilliance intersects with political responsibility and public discourse.
