ANT1 journalists depart following major shifts in Greek television

Several prominent journalists are departing the Greek television network ANT1, marking a period of transition for the broadcaster.

Sports journalist Giorgos Triantafyllidis has left the group after 30 years. In a social media message, he expressed gratitude to his journalistic and technical colleagues, stating, “After 30 years of presence at ANT1, the time has come for my departure from the group.”

Journalist Panos Katsaridis also addressed his departure from the morning show “Proino,” noting that while the experience helped him grow, the end of the collaboration caused him significant sadness. He also commented on various industry figures and recent offers he received.

Additionally, Panagiotis Stathis discussed his move from ANT1 to ERT. He addressed the criticism he faced after taking over the presentation of “Kalimera Ellada,” clarifying that he never intended to replace Giorgos Papadakis and that he does not regret his decision to take on the challenge.
