The Voice of Greece Giorgos Zambetas G Zeus Blind Auditions Greek music

During the Blind Auditions of The Voice of Greece on SKAI, Giorgos Zambetas, performing under the stage name G Zeus, drew significant attention. The grandson of the legendary Greek composer Giorgos Zambetas, he performed the song ‘Malista Kyrie’, a piece closely associated with his grandfather, before transitioning into his preferred genre, rap.

Zambetas received interest from coaches Panos Mouzourakis and Elena Paparizou. Mouzourakis ultimately secured him for his team by using a ‘block’ against Paparizou. During the episode, Zambetas revealed a personal history with Mouzourakis, noting that the first song he ever wrote in 2013 was intended for the singer.

The episode also saw high viewership for the program, which recorded a 29.4% share of the total audience and 21.4% in the 18-54 demographic according to Nielsen data. Other notable performances included Elena Nasiou, who sang barefoot, and Anastasia Tachtsidou.
