Giovane Vieira de Paula has qualified for the VL3M200m final at the Paracanoe World Championship in Poznan, Poland. The athlete from Apucarana secured his spot by winning his semifinal heat with a time of 53.04 seconds, finishing ahead of Uzbekistan’s Turabek Nazarkulov.

This performance follows Vieira’s recent gold medal win at the Paracanoe World Cup in Montreal, Canada, in July. His current success in Poland places him in a strong position to potentially represent Brazil again at the Paralympic Games.
