Rai announces musical commission for Sanremo Giovani 2026

Rai has announced the musical commission for the 2026 Sanremo Giovani and Area Sanremo selection processes. The seven-member panel is tasked with evaluating artistic proposals to identify emerging talents for the festival.

The commission includes Fabio Volo, Carlo Pastore, Maestro Pino Perris, Noemi, Ema Stokholma, artistic director Stefano De Martino, and entertainment vice-director Claudio Fasulo.

Live auditions are scheduled for late October in Milan for 60 artists who pass the initial phase. From these, 15 artists will be selected from Sanremo Giovani and 15 from Area Sanremo, totaling 30 talents. The process will continue with live auditions in Sanremo during two weekends in November, ultimately resulting in six finalists. To encourage participation, the deadline for applications has been extended to Monday, October 12, at 18:00.
