Giovani Lo Celso reflects on his time at Paris Saint-Germain

Giovani Lo Celso, the 30-year-old midfielder for Real Betis, has reflected on his formative years playing for Paris Saint-Germain. In a recent interview, the Argentine described his time at the club as a “Disney movie” due to the exceptional level of his teammates and the welcoming, familial atmosphere provided by the staff and leadership.

Lo Celso highlighted the lasting connection he maintains with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and expressed gratitude toward Olivier Létang, the current president of Lille and former PSG sporting director. He credited Létang with personally convincing him to join the club in 2016, a move he described as a dream at the time.

Currently playing for Real Betis, Lo Celso is returning to France for a Champions League match against Lille. After stints with Tottenham and Villarreal, the midfielder is looking to reintegrate into his squad following a period of injury.
