Giovanni Cafiero appointed Director of Pasta di Gragnano IGP Consortium

Giovanni Cafiero has been appointed as the new Director of the Consorzio di Tutela della Pasta di Gragnano IGP. At 33 years old, Cafiero is noted as one of the youngest professionals to lead a protection consortium in Italy.

A native of Gragnano, Cafiero previously served within the Consortium for six years as the Promotion Manager. His background includes studies in business economics, marketing, gastronomic sciences, and food law across Naples, Turin, Pollenzo, and Rome.

During his tenure, Cafiero contributed to the growth of the designation and helped develop the ‘Gragnano Città della Pasta’ event, which aims to strengthen the connection between the local community, the territory, and the product.
